volunteer opporturnities
... your chance to make a meaningful contribution.
Dear Texas Storm Family,
In today's competitive corporate environment,
community relations have become an important part of
work-life programs and a significant business
function. Businesses look for programs that provide
reciprocal benefits to the company as well as the
community. One way that many organizations achieve
this goal is through volunteer-match programs.
Employees are encouraged to participate in projects
and activities that focus on improving the quality of
life through community involvement. Participants are
typically required to invest a specific number of
volunteer hours and in turn, the company will match
your investment of time with a monetary contribution
to the respective organization.
As a member of the Texas Storm Family, I’d like to ask
you to take a few minutes of your time to check with
your employer’s human resource department to see if
the company offers a volunteer-match program. These
programs allow the company and its employees to get
involved and make a meaningful contribution both
physically and financially. I believe this is a great
way to support our children and filter much needed
funds back into our community.
If you would like additional information regarding
volunteer opportunities, please feel free to contact
